PENANG: Many Penangites have been on a frantic hunt for cooking oil upon learning that the state is facing a shortage in supply.
Although many of the hypermarkets and shops had limited the purchase of cooking oil to one or two bottles per customer, there was still too little to cater for the much higher demand since news broke that Penang was running out of supply.
