Fake mobile phones and DVDs seized

KUALA LUMPUR: The Domestic Trade and Consumers Affair Ministry seized 70 fake mobile phones and 700 pirated DVDs worth RM160,000 from three shops at Pertama Complex, Jalan Raja Laut, here yesterday. 

Acting on tip-off, enforcement officers from the ministry’s Putrajaya branch led by assistant director Firdus Zakaria raided two outlets in Pertama Complex at 11am and detained six people in their 20s and 30s for selling fake mobile phones and pirated DVDs.
