Special team to probe attack on ex-newscaster Wan Zaleha

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have set up a special task force to investigate the incident in which former TV3 newscaster Wan Zaleha Wan Radzi was robbed, assaulted and taken on a terror ride on Tuesday. 

Brickfields CID chief Deputy Supt Jude Pereira is heading the task force. City CID chief Senior Asst Comm (II) Ku Chin Wah said police had recorded Wan Zaleha’s statement.
