David Teo Chew Huat left his hometown with hopes of becoming an architect. But as fate would have it, he dropped out after running out of funds. However, architecture’s loss has become the Malaysian entertainment scene’s gain. 

AS A boy, David Teo Chew Huat (pic) dreamt of becoming an architect. In 1986, he finally saved enough money and left his home in Pekan Jabi, a small town in Segamat, Johor, to pursue a diploma in architecture course in Kuala Lumpur.
