PUTRAJAYA: The Immigration Department has denied that its officers had detained Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim upon his return from Istanbul at the KL International Airport Tuesday. Department enforcement director Datuk Ishak Mohamed said Anwar was not stopped or questioned by immigration officers as he had claimed.
He said upon arrival, Anwar had gone through the normal counter check.
