A WORLD Bank report that Malaysia's higher education system is “at a critical point in its evolution” is merely a reminder that some drastic changes are needed to make it universally competitive, reported Mingguan Malaysia.
Quoting Higher Education Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed, the weekend paper reported: “What is meant by “critical point” is that our system is at that point in time and in a position for a transformation.
