BALIK PULAU: The prosecution should have framed several joint charges instead of separate charges for 45 people said to be followers of the banned Al-Arqam movement, said a Syariah Lower Court.
Judge Mohd Ridzwan Ghazali said yesterday that the prosecution, conducted by the state Islamic Religious Department, should have framed joint charges if it wanted a joint trial for some of them.
