A SABAH non-governmental organisation wants the Federal Government to review Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhds (SESB) proposal for a coal-powered plant in Lahad Datu.
Sabah Environmental Protection Association (Sepa) east coast chief Wong Tack said the locals were worried that the project would destroy Darvel Bay in Lahad Datu, one of the most diversified marine areas in the world.
