Call to arm kids with ICT knowledge

KUALA LUMPUR: Children should be prepared with the knowledge and skills of the information communication technology (ICT) to face the globalisation era, said MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting. 

“Children should not only learn basic skills on how to use computers, they should also be taught how to use the computer to interact with people such as their teachers,” he said in his speech at the launch of the Redtone Chinese Education ICT Fund here yesterday.
