KOTA KINABALU: The World Wide Fund for Nature raised concern over the planned construction of a cement clinker plant on the limestone-rich Pulau Balambangan.
WWF executive director Dr Dionysius Sharma said that the island, off Sabah’s northern Kudat district, has significant bio-diversity, limestone caves and prehistoric significance.
