PUTRAJAYA: After a week-long operation to flush out illegals working in petrol stations, only 154 have been nabbed by authorities.
Immigration Department enforcement director Datuk Ishak Mohamad said this indicated that the number of illegals employed by petrol stations were not as high as the 10,000 to 15,000 as previously claimed by Petroleum Dealers Association acting president Mejar (R) Abd Wahid Bidin.
