KUALA LUMPUR: Four lawyers are suing the Government and the police for a total of RM85mil for wrongful detention and un-lawful arrests during the demolition of a Hindu temple last month.
M. Manoharan, 46, P. Uthayakumar, 46, P. Waythamoorthy, 41, and V. Ganabatirau, 34, claimed in their suit filed yesterday that they were denied access to their clients at the Shah Alam district police station on Oct 30.
