PM to be given batik painting signifying racial unity

KUALA LUMPUR: A batik painting, depicting a lion dance on poles against a colourful background of a dragonhead, will be presented to Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the 50th Merdeka Anniversary Cultural and Arts Performance this weekend. 

The Prime Minister and his deputy Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak are among the string of VIPs who have been invited for the opening night and gala dinner on Saturday.
