KOTA KINABALU: A contentious amendment to the state’s Land Acquisition Ordinance is set to become law with the Sabah government reiterating that the legislation would not be abused.
Chief Minister Datuk Musa Aman said the state would ensure that no government agency abused this amendment for personal interest and the amendment passed by the Sabah Legislative Assembly on Sept 25 was strictly for public services and utilities.
