PETALING JAYA: Melamine tableware products are safe for food contact use, says the Malaysian Plastics Forum (MPF), responding to a Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) warning against using melamine tableware.
According to a statement released by MPF on Wednesday, melamine ware products, which are made of materials containing formaldehyde, have been extensively tested for safety and health.
