PETALING JAYA: Synergy Drive Bhd, the plantation mega merger vehicle for Sime Darby Bhd, Kumpulan Guthrie Bhd and Golden Hope Plantation Bhd, is believed to have appointed prominent Indonesian banker Dr Arifin Siregar as a board member.
The full list of 12 directors will be announced possibly today. The Star reported yesterday that former deputy prime minister Tun Musa Hitam and Permodalan Nasional Bhd chairman Tan Sri Ahmad Sarji would be chairman and deputy chairman respectively.
