SEPANG: Customs officers arrested a man with 30 tonnes of firecrackers and fireworks valued at RM595,000 on Sept 18.
Kuala Lumpur Customs director Datuk Ibrahim Md Isa said the man, in his 40s, was detained at the Ehsan Jaya Industrial Area Kepong where the smuggled items, believed to be from China, were found in 1,191 cartons.
