KOTA KINABALU: An oil palm estate worker, who had gone for a “picnic” at a Philippine island near Sabah, ended up being held captive by three Filipino nationals for nine months.
Instead of enjoying a brief stay at the island of Taganak in January, 21-year-old Sidek Sariman was holed up there till he was brought back to Sabah on Thursday.
