Golf resort leaves 1,400 members in the cold

NIBONG TEBAL: The Kristal Golf Resort in Jawi here has closed down, leaving some 1,400 golf club members and 150 employees, including its Japanese managing director in the lurch. 

This was after it had collected more than RM50mil in membership fees, in addition to the monthly fees of RM115 for corporate members and RM88 per month for individual members.
