Tawau mill to produce paper from oil palm waste

KUALA LUMPUR: A mill in Tawau which will turn oil palm fruit bunch fibres into paper will be operational next year.  

Deputy Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk S. Sothinathan said the new mill would be the first in the world to use oil palm fruit bunch fibres to produce paper.
