DUNGUN: The discovery of one of the world’s smallest freshwater fish at the Bukit Bauk forest reserve has made the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) keen to support efforts to conserve the 7,564ha site.
The Bukit Bauk forest reserve is home to at least 638 known species of flora and, now, home to the paedocypris species of fish, which is the smallest known fish and vertebrate in the world.
