BEIJING: One hundred years after the first Peking-Paris motor challenge, the historic trans-continental rally will be re-enacted when the Sultan of Selangor joins 133 other participants in their classic cars today to drive through desert, rough terrain and historical sites.
Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and his co-drivers will drive his 1940 Chevrolet Fangio coupe across China, Mongolia, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany and France covering a distance of over 14,000km.
