KUALA LUMPUR: Major retail outlets, sundry and restaurant associations, and hotels have given the fight against contraband cigarettes a big boost with their pledge to not support the illicit industry.
Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Mohd Shafie Apdal said the partnership between retailers and the Government to wipe out trade in illegal products would reduce supply as a result of decreased demand.
