If your name is Merdeka, read on

PASIR MAS: Those who carry the name “Merdeka” should call up the nearest information department office to register themselves and be recognised. 

Information Ministry director-general Datuk Abdullah Morad said the ministry would track and group all of those born on Merdeka Day and arrange for them to meet the King, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister in a run-up to the anniversary celebrations.
