KOTA KINABALU: Thirty-six Chinese nationals are expected to be charged with encroaching and poaching on protected hawksbill and green turtles in Malaysian waters under the state Fisheries Act.
The suspects, all from Hainan island, were detained within two days by marine police off the west coast of Sabah earlier this week.
