Man burnt to death in accident a DiGi employee

SHAH ALAM: The man who was burnt to death in an accident along the 9.5km stretch of the New Klang Valley Expressway has been identified as DiGi.Com Bhd employee Tee Heo Ting. 

Police obtained Tee’s address at Putra Heights, Subang Jaya, soon after the mishap by tracing the vehicle’s chassis number. 

Tee, who was in his 30s, was heading towards Subang Jaya when the mishap occurred. 

His wife claimed his remains from Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah yesterday after the post-mortem. 

Tee’s MPV crashed into a stationary crane and burst into flames at about 2.30pm on Tuesday.  

The crane was parked along the expressway for repairs after it broke down. 

Chief Insp P. Nallusamy from the Shah Alam traffic police has urged those who witnessed the accident to contact him at 03-5510 2222.
