KUALA LUMPUR: A retired bank officer, whose daughter fell unconscious two days before her death in 2004, repeatedly reminded his son-in-law to call an ambulance but his requests were ignored, a coroner's court heard, Joseph Sebastian said he phoned his son-in-law five times when he was told that his daughter, Dr Cynthia Joseph was unconscious.
“He (son-in-law Dr A. Retna Rasa) kept asking me to come over to his house,” said the 74-year-father, who lived in Overseas Union Garden in Old Klang Road, some 17km from his daughter's house in Bandar Sungai Long, Cheras.
