Five in a family perish in blaze

PETALING JAYA: Five members of a family were killed when their house in Kg Cempaka here was razed in what may have been an arson attack. 

The 3am blaze yesterday, which destroyed two double-storey half-wood, half-brick houses, claimed the lives of carpenter Leong Kim Seng, 62, his restaurant-helper wife Tan Li Chee, 53, and their children – Chiew Choon, 14, Chiew Foong, 12 and Shuet Whey, eight.
