KUALA LUMPUR: Information and Communications Technology (ICT) change has been the hallmark of economic development in Malaysia, especially in the last three decades, said Deputy Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Kong Cho Ha.
“By making it possible to manage vast quantities of information, ICT is transforming every sector of the Malaysian economy from manufacturing to services, transportation, healthcare, education and even the government sector,” he said in his speech at the launch of the Sun Microsystems’ Sun Tech Days 2006-2007: A Worldwide Developer Conference yesterday.
