KUCHING: Eighteen rural libraries were built or renovated in Sarawak last year to give the rural people greater acces to information and reading materials.
Of the projects, 13 were new libraries costing a total of RM1.8mil. They were built in Kapit, Sarikei, Sibu, Limbang, Sri Aman and Kuching divisions, while five were renovations to existing library buildings in Betong and Kuching.
