PUTRAJAYA: The prosecution in the Tan Sri Eric Chia Eng Hock criminal breach of trust trial will attempt tomorrow to persuade the Sessions Court to accept the evidence of the RM76.4mil money trail obtained from Japan.

Senior Deputy Public Prosecutor Datuk Yusoff Zainal Abiden told the court that the prosecution, in its submissions, would be relying on several provisions in the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act 2002, the Evidence Act and the Criminal Procedure Code to argue for the admission of the testimonies of five witnesses obtained from the Ministry of Justice in Japan.
