IPOH: Housewife Mak Koy Chan rarely leaves her house these days. She hopes to be the first to receive a call from her only daughter.
“Whenever the phone rings, I pray that it is (Tang) Kuan Yee telling me that she is safe and on her way home. I have kept her room tidy and will take out her photographs to look at,” said Mak, 54, in between sobs yesterday.
