KUALA LUMPUR: The corruption trial of former Land and Cooperative Development Minister Tan Sri Kasitah Gaddam was postponed to Monday after he was admitted to Ampang Puteri Hospital for high blood pressure.
During examination-in-chief of the fifth prosecution witness, Vincent Chia Ka Soon, Kasitah’s counsel Datuk Muhammad Shafee Abdullah interrupted the proceedings and told the High Court Kasitah had a follow-up appointment with a cardiologist after receiving initial treatment at the hospital on Wednesday.
