KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Kasitah Gaddam asked a partner of an auditing firm to help him find buyers for 16 million shares in PPB Oil Palm Bhd (PPBOP) in 1997, a High Court was told yesterday.
The former Land and Co-operative Development Minister also requested that a buyer be found before PPBOP’s listing on the KL Stock Exchange in August that year and for the transaction to be carried out offshore.
