KUALA LUMPUR: A former Sabah Land Development Board (SLDB) general manager told the High Court here that former minister Tan Sri Kasitah Gaddam made disturbing calls to him on various occasions, including ordering him to sell shares and telling him that he needed money for the Umno general election.
Datuk Mohd Tahir Jaafar, 56, said Kasitah had called him on May 30, 1996, and ordered him to sell 16% of the boards shares in Sapi Plantations Sdn Bhd to two Bumiputra companies that he (Kasitah) and a Datuk Salleh owned.
