Il Divo in Kuala Lumpur to kick off world tour

KUALA LUMPUR: International operatic supergroup Il Divo arrived here yesterday to kick off their 2007 World Tour. 

David Miller from the United States and Urs Buhler from Switzerland arrived in the afternoon while Sebastian Izambard (France) and Carlos Marin (Spain) arrived last night.

Clad in casual wear, Miller and Buhler looked relaxed as they were greeted at the Shangri-La Hotel here. Buhler flew in from wintry Milan while Miller came in from the United States. 

Il Divo has released four albums to international acclaim and has sold millions of albums worldwide. They will begin their show on Jan 16 at the Plenary Hall, KL Convention Centre.  

Brought in by Arianna Event Management, the sponsors for the event are CIMB, Tourism Malaysia, Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur, ntv7, BMW, Channel V and Sony BMG. Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur is the official hotel while The Star is the official media.
