KUALA LUMPUR: The corruption trial of Tan Sri Kasitah Gaddam began in the High Court here yesterday with the prosecution pledging to prove that the former Land and Co-operatives Development Minister had been facing financial woes.
It also pledged to prove that Arkwell Ltd Sdn Bhd had settled his debts totalling RM11.5mil with RHB Bank Bhd.
