PENANG: The “tropical depression” (or cyclone) over the South China Sea has now weakened into a “monsoon disturbance”, the Meteorological Department said.
A department spokesman said the tropical depression which was expected to move northwest and cross over to the north of the peninsula yesterday and today was losing intensity.
