BATU PAHAT: Rescuers have found the body of five-year-old K. Pavithra, whose mother and younger sister had perished earlier this week when their family car was washed away by strong currents. This brought the flood death toll in the south to 12.
The child’s father, assistant estate manager S. Kamalanathan, 36, survived the tragedy that had earlier took the lives of his wife M. Punithawathy, 31, and three-year-old daughter Vanitha.
