KOTA BARU: A Kelantanese couple became the first persons to use the state-issued gold dinar coins as dowry for their wedding, which was held at the Nurul Iman mosque in Kampung Belukar here yesterday.
The akad nikah ceremony of Nurul Jalal Abdul Wahab Mujahid and Suhaida Hanim Mohamad Suhane, both 26, was presided over by Mentri Besar and PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat.
