RM903mil to save Johor rivers

JOHOR BARU: The Federal Government has allocated RM903.2mil to rehabilitate and improve the quality of three of Johor’s most polluted rivers, the Sg Skudai, Sg Tebrau and Sg Segget. 

State Tourism and Environment Committee chairman Freddie Long told the state assembly that the funds, under the Ninth Malaysia Plan, would be divided between the Sewage Services Department, Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) and Department of Environment (DOE).
