SEREMBAN: A former president of the Negri Sembilan Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry was charged with giving misleading statements to the Registrar of Companies and being a director of several companies without the courts permission after being declared bankrupt more than five years ago.
Datuk Dr Abdul Murad Ahmad, 51, was charged in a Sessions Court here yesterday with six counts of being a director at companies without the permission of the court under Section 125 (1) of the Companies Act 1965.
