KUALA LUMPUR: Wedding planner Sukma Darmawan Sasmitaat Madja has been freed of a charge of allowing his adopted brother Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to sodomise him eight years ago.
Sessions Court Judge Nursinah Adzmi yesterday acquitted and discharged Sukma after DPP Mohd Hanafiah Zakaria told the court “it would be inappropriate in terms of public interest” to proceed with the trial as there was no evidence against him.
