Police chief happy with cops’ response to crime

KAJANG: To find out if his men respond quickly and efficiently to crime, Selangor police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Ismail Omar turned up in person at a crime scene yesterday to conduct a spot check.  

DCP Ismail made a surprise visit to the Thin Seng Goldsmiths in Semenyih, near here, where four robbers fled with RM30,000 worth of jewellery at 11.45am.
