Effective date for new tariffs out after Raya

SHAH ALAM: The Government will announce the effective date for new water tariffs in the Klang Valley after the Hari Raya holidays next week, Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo said. 

He said that the tariff for usage that was less than 20 cubic metres would remain while that for usage of between 21 cubic metres and 35 cubic metres would rise by 13%, and more than 35 cubic metres, by 17%.
