PEKAN: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the deferment of the Umno elections should not be linked to an early general election.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that the date of the general election was the prerogative of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
