KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Mohd Effendi Norwawi has submitted an affidavit to the Syariah Court explaining the circumstances regarding the transfer of assets worth some RM42mil to his ex-wife Zariah Hashim @ Farida Effendi.
The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department turned up personally yesterday, the last of a 14-day deadline, at the court here and signed the 23-page affidavit before assistant registrar Sofian Ibrahim.
