KUANTAN: Two of the four main sugar manufacturers in the country have assured that they will increase production to meet local demand.
Domestic Trade and Consumers Affairs Ministry deputy director-general (enforcement division) Iskandar Halim Sulaiman said Malaysian Sugar Manufacturing (MSM) had promised to increase production by 10,000 tonnes to 70,000 tonnes.
