PUTRAJAYA: With the emergence of new diseases in the Western Pacific region such as bird flu, the World Health Organisation is seeking the views of health experts and key government officials in the region on ways to fight the diseases.
Its Western Pacific Regional Office has gathered experts and officials to discuss the issues at its 57th annual meeting in Christchurch, New Zealand, which began yesterday and will end on Friday.
