SEREMBAN: The Negri Sembilan MCA Crisis Relief Squad (CRSM) will help mother Hue Xiao Pei lead the normal life of a 15-year-old.

CRSM deputy chairman Jason Lee said they plan to make arrangements for the girl to continue her schooling. Xiao Pei dropped out from Form One when she became pregnant.

Alternatively, the team would arrange for Xiao Pei to participate in courses organised by the state MCA Lifelong Learning Bureau as well as other vocational training.

Xiao Pei, who is still in a confused state, needed some time to consider what to do next.

“She is still too young and immature. I hope the public can give her a chance,” he said.

Lee was referring to the incident in which Xiao Pei made up a tale of her losing her one-year-old son at the Terminal One shopping complex on Thursday when she had actually given him to a family in Johor.

With help from police and CRSM, baby Lee Kah Lok returned here safely the next day and is now taken care by the family of his 25-year-old father, who had separated from Xiao Pei some six months ago.

Yesterday, CRSM had a meeting with Xiao Pei and her former husband to find out the reasons for their separation and why she gave Kah Lok away.

Meanwhile, Negri Sembilan CID chief Asst Comm Huzir Mohamed said police would hand over their findings to the Deputy Public Prosecutor once their investigation on Xiao Pei for lodging a false police report is completed.
